The 4A-GE Engine

The 4A-GE engine is a 1.6 Litre (1587cc) Double Over Head Cam (DOHC) four cylinder.
One of the first cars to feature this engine was the AE86 Corolla Sprinter / Levin Trueno, with 86 KW.
This car features the later model 100KW version, which is very different internally to the 86KW version.

I also own a 1991 Corolla AE92 FX-GT (2 door) Rally car, which has a 4AGE engine, but heavily modified. More information on the FX rally car is in : AE92 Corolla FX-GT page.
